Kalin Jean began playing football with SYA when he was just 6 yrs old and has continued to play for the past 12 years. He plays positions at Running Back & Line Backer. He maintains a 3.75 GPA and is a member of The National Honor Society. He hasn't made a final decision on where he'll be attending college. But, when he does Kalin would like to pursue a career in Sports Medicine / Kinesiology.
Kalin was chosen for the Rondeau Scholarship by a committee from The Touchdown Club, Coach Shields and the Rondeau Family. Kalin Jean was this year's stand-out applicant. Kalin is a Class of 2020 Graduating Senior Centreville Varsity Football Player who has lived up to the legacy of serving one’s school, team, and community.
Kalin was also given a special award by Coree Reuter-McNamara, our CVHS Athletic Trainer. The Wildcat Award is presented to a student who exemplifies the spirit of a Centreville High School student athlete.
At the beginning of the 2019 Football Season Kalin was sidelined with an injury to his ACL. He worked for the rest of the year to rehab and get back to full health!
"Despite being unable to play, he still showed up every single day. He refused to let his injury define him, and he has attacked every step of his recovery with the same work ethic and dedication he always displayed on the football field. Kalin’s outlook, positivity and continued leadership during one of his lowest points is a testament to his strength of character and his heart."

Amy was key to the formation of The Touchdown Club as a community organizer. Her selflessness and giving nature shined as she dedicated herself to professionalizing a handful of well intended parents into a non-profit vital to the CVHS Football Program.
In the initial years of The Touchdown Club, Amy was critical to its establishment as a non-profit and set-up Spirit Wear sales at games. When not adding her business acumen, Amy supported concession stand sales, set-up team meals at local establishments, and setup the JV & Varsity Awards Banquets.
Amy was passionate in her support of the Centerville Wildcats due to her two sons – Jared and Eric. She was in the stands for every game, dragged her neighbors to games in cold and wet weather and energized those around her in the stands. Her enthusiasm showed us all that she loved every minute! Amy supported our kids and this Scholarship will continue her example.
Amy passed away unexpectedly at the age of 49.
The TDC has set-up a Scholarship Fund in Amy's memory. The Amy Rondeau Scholarship will provide an annual $1,000 Scholarship to one Senior Football Player who best represents CHVS Football based on requirements set-up by The TDC. Service to the Team and the Community will play heavily in the selection of the recipient of the Amy Rondeau Scholarship. More information will be available when the next Football season begins.
The TDC accepts donations for this fund throughout the year.
